ADOPTION STEPS:

• Submit an adoption application on our website: www.ellieslegacy.org
• One of our foster families will contact you to set up a meet & greet
• After your meet & greet please advise us if you would like to move forward with adopting. At this point, we will process your application
• A home visit will be scheduled
• After approval to adopt; bring your new furry friend home!

​ Adoption Criteria:

• Adopters must be 18 years or older
• All resident pets must be up to date on vaccines & spayed or neutered
• Adopters agree to a meet & greet and home visit prior to adopting
• Adopted cats must be inside pets
• Love your new pet like family! ​

We pride ourselves on successful adoptions & are here to assist you in welcoming your newly adopted pet to your family. At the time of adoption, you will receive important information on rescue pets & their transition into your home (Letter to new parents & 2 week shutdown).
